1. Upa-Panchhari Dist-Khagrachhari A gang of organized terrorists led by Masudur Rahaman Bhandari, a notorious terrorist of the locality attacked the Debaloy Temple and destroyed seven images. The terrorists at that time looted valuables including Tk. 30,000/00 in cash and two bhoris of gold ornaments. 2. Village-Singlab Upa-Sonargaon
Dist-Narayangang		 A gang of 15-20 terrorists led by land-robber suddenly attacked the houses of Niranjan Biswas and his nephew, Sudeb Chandra Biswas, as they refused to pay an illegally demanded toll of a sum of Tk. 10 lacs. The terrorists made away with valuables including 4 bhoris of gold ornaments and Tk. 7,000/00 in cash. 3. Village- Guabaria Upazilla-Hizla
District-Barisal		 A gang of unidentified miscreants first beat up Kalachan Saha on his way back home from the bazaar, and then threw acid on the face and other parts of his body. He was admitted into Dhaka Medical College Hospital in a critically injured condition. The attack was made with a view to frightening him and thus grabbing his land and other properties. 4. Upa-Banshkhali Dist-Chittagong . A gang of dacoits attacked and looted 9 temples at Kalipur, Boilchhari, Banigram and at the Kalibari during the last 20 days. They made away with goods worth more than ten lakhs of taka including gold ornaments of 8 bhoris. Panic is prevailing among the managing committees of different temples and the devotees over this incident of dacoity. Bhorer Kagoj 08/06/08

5. District-Naogaon A gang of land-robbers led by land-robbers of different upazillas like Md. Mashiur Rahaman Choudhury, sub-registrar Hasanuddin and Sadar Ali (Ladhu) have forged documents and grabbed landed properties of Atul Sarder Kuju, Sreemati Buddhimaoni Urao, Sreekush Urao, Ratan Pahan, Radha Pahan and many others. Those indigenous people, in spite of getting courts’ verdicts in their favour, are not getting possession of land. Moreover, the land-robbers are issuing threats of murder so that the indigenous people leave the country. The affected indigenous people, on losing land and homes, are leading sub-human life. 6. Madhyam Kakaldi Upa-Sirajdikhan
Dist-Munshigang		 Oishi Rani Mandal, a talented student of class X of Malkhanpur High School, and daughter of Ratan Mandal, was kidnapped by Joni Mia, son of Majid Mia of the same village, and Babul Mia and and Sabuj Mia on her way to school. Panic is prevailing among the people of the minority community of the area over this happening. Jugantor 07/06/08

7. Village-Birampur Upa-Mohangang
District-Netrakona		 Some unidentified terrorists cut – and, on entering into the house, wounded Manmohan Talukder (55), a freedom-fighter, by striking him with sharp weapons. He breathed his last after battling with death at the hospital for one long month. Sangbad 10/06/08

8. Upa-Nababgang District-Dinajpur Some powerful land-grabbers named Mamtaj Ali, Lokman Hossain, Babul, Md. Kamal and Md. Dulal, with direct help from the Administration, kidnapped two indigenous persons—Sarker Tudu and Shome Hasda, and murdered them. These land-grabbers have grabbed more than 70 bighas of land belonging to sarker Tudu and Shome Hasda. As they wanted to get back the land, they were cruelly killed. Inquilab 17/06/08

9. Majhipara Upazilla-Singair
Dist-Manikgang		 Abu Taleb, alias Current Bhai, a dentist raped a non-adult daughter of Niranjan Rajbangshi, at his chamber. 10. Village-Gabtoli Upazilla-Taltoli
District-Barguna		 Majed Pahloan, a notorious land-grabber of the locality, along with his gang of lathials, has occupied 21 acres of land that Chittaranjan and Sukharanjan had owned for more than 43 years, under the dark of night. The terrorists are creating pressures to make them leave the country; otherwise, they would be killed. Janakantho 17/06/08

11. Upa-Golachipa District-Patuakhali Unidentified miscreants have been issuing threats for the last few days to blow off with bomb and kill Shankar Lal Das, the correspondent of Daily Janakantho for Golachipa and President of the Press Club there. 12. Vill-Naorshera Upa-Bagatipara
District-Natore		 Dablu Khan and Mohammad Uddin—notorious land-grabbers-- have evicted indigenous Udoy Mandol and grabbed his only stay—his homestead. On losing the roof over his head, Udoy Mandol, 102, is now a beggar of the street. Sangbad 31/06/08

13. Village-Moshipara Upazilla-Dhamrai
District-Dhaka		 A gang of 20-25 terrorists including Arif Hossain (26), Salam Mia (28), Maron (50) and Abbas Fakir (55) led by terrorist Alam of Savar attacked the house of Haripada Halder, beat up people, damaged property, set fire and looted ornaments and money. They entered into the house and made away with valuables including Tk. 70,000/00 in cash and gold ornaments of 4 bhoris. Going to put up resistance at this time , seven persons including Haripada Halder (70) and his blind wife, Rani Halder (62) got grievously injured. Samakal 23/06/08

14. Village-Berbari Upazilla-Sakhipur
District-Tangail		 A gang of terrorists under the leadership of Khandokar Masum, younger brother Khandokar Bazlur Rahaman, Chairman of Jadabpur Union, conducted a sudden attack on the house of indigenous Mandrila Malo. 9 men and women including one U.P. member got injured as a result of the attack. The injured have been admitted into Shakhipur hospital. Samokal 22/06/08

15. Upazilla-Sadar Dist-Brahmanbaria Some miscreants conducted a sudden attack on the Joykali Mata Temple of the town, and did a big damage and loot. Intense resentment prevails among the religious minority community over this happening. Prathom Alo 21/06/08

16. Village- Durgapur Upa-Doarabazar
Dist-Sunamgang		 Some miscreants entered into the house of Shishir Roy and killed his wife, Anima Roy by strangling. The miscreants, later on, fled after looting the valuables. Dipti Roy got wounded as a result of beating-up by the miscreants. Inquilab 21/06/08

17. Modhyo Akalia Upazilla- Titas
District-Comilla		 Unidentified miscreants killed Katic Das (45), a village police and son of Nibaron Chandra Das, Police have recovered his dead body. Intense resentment and panic prevail among members of the religious minority community of the area over this happening Samakal 21/06/08

18. Upa-Putia Dist-Rajshahi Abul Kalam, a school-teacher, raped an indigenous student of Rajshahi Nursing Institute, by confining her within a room. The locals rescued her at her crying, and got her admitted into the local hospital. Samokal 24/06/08

19. Vill-Kamargram Upazilla-Mollarhat
District-Bagerhat		 A gang of land-grabbers, with the assistance of the local administration, and under the leadership of Nazmul Sarder, an identified land-grabber and President of Community Policing, has forcefully occupied 31 decimals of land of Bimal Bala. On trying to put up resistance, the terrorists beat up Bimal Bala, his old mother, wife and daughter. 20. Hugolbaria Upazilla-Sadar
District-Natore		 Saiful—a debauch and miscreant of the locality—has raped Oishi--a five-year old niece of Debendra Nath Kar. As Dr. Satyendra Nath Sarker, a neighbour protested against this occurrence, Saiful, with the help of other terrorists, assaulted and injured him. 21. Village-Golabaria Upazilla-Sadar
Dist-Gopalgang		 Rabiul, a miscreant, snatched away a student of class V to a field of green jute plantations and raped her there. Rescuing her from there, locals got her admitted into District Sadar Hospital. BhorerKagoj 9/06/08

22. Bhanugachh Bazar Upa-Kamalgang
Dist-Moulvibazar		 A gang of 7-8 miscreants dealt Gnayendra Sharma, Manager of Shamun Traders, strong strikes with sharp weapons on different parts of his body including the head, as he was on his way back home at night, and looted away all money he had with him. People around rescued him in an unconscious condition, and got him admitted Sylhet Osmani Medical College. Sangbad 08/06/08 No case has been filed in this regard.
23. Village-Gadakhola Upa-Baliakandi
District-Rajbari		 A gang of 10-12 dacoits, with indigenous weapons including pipe-gun and ramdao, entered into the house of Mantu Goswami and Uttom Goswami, took hostage of all and made away with goods worth more than 2 lakhs of taka including 20 thousand taka in cash and 4 bhoris of gold ornaments. This happening has thrown people of the local minority community into panic. Prathom Alo 09/06/08

24. Village-Jatrabari Upazilla-Sadarpur
District-Faridpur		 A gang of 20-25 armed dacoits entered into the house of Khokan Pal, a trader in gold, and took away goods worth more than 20 lakhs of taka including three lakhs of taka in cash and 40 bhoris of gold ornaments. Trying to put up resistance at this time, Parimal (30) and Nirmal (28)--two sons of Khokan Pal—got seriously injured. They have been admitted into a local clinic. Janakanthoj 10/06/08

25. Dakshin Khanpur Upazilla-Sadar
District-Bagerhat		 A gang of armed dacoits entered into the house of Sanjoy Pal, son of Manimohan Pal, took hostage of all on gun-point, and took away goods worth more than 2 lakhs of taka including 14 thousands of taka in cash and gold ornaments. Trying to put up resistance at this time, two persons got seriously injured at reckless blows from the dacoits. Bhorer Kagoj 10/06/08

26. Village-Dahapara Upazilla-Durgapur
District-Netrokona		 A gang of 10-12 armed and masked dacoits entered into the Christian Church of Fatima and committed dacoity at the house of Kuthai Tripura. The dacoits took away goods worth more than 1 lakh of taka including 4,500 taka in cash. They severely beat up Liza Tripura and Nutha Tripura. They have been admitted into District Sadar Hospital. Chandpur Thakurbari Upa-Mithapukur District-Rangpur A group of officials of the Narcotics Control Department led by one sub-inspector, including two sources, made an attack on the village of the indigenous people and severely beat up people including men, women and children. 4 indigenous persons, including Charok urao and Chamrul Urao, got grievously injured at this.
